Christmas is almost here!!!

Black Friday came and went! We stood in line to get into Toys R Us at 5:00 in the morning. The line was so long it turned 2 corners!!! We are crazy, but we got some cool things for Great prices!! Here are just some of the things we purchased...









We also got some cool bath toys, Little People Play set and a little doggie that barks when it walks!!! I think Alexis is going to have a great 1st Christmas

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

Happy Halloween everyone!! This was Alexis' First Halloween. She got dressed up as a fairy princess (although you really can not see the wings-they were there...lol...). We didn't go trick or treat this year-I figured she is to young to eat candy, so we just had a nice night at home giving out lots of good candy and watching Slither.

I'm a Runny Nose Kid!

My poor baby is sick! It seems that the babes has a cold. I dont know how this happened!! One day she is feeling fine the next she is all congested with a runny nose and coughing. I guess it is the change in the weather here-one day it is 98 degrees and the next day it is 68 go figure-the price we pay for living in the desert i guess. The good thing is that it is only her nose and a small cough-no fever, she still eating fine, etc, etc. So every 4 hours she gets a triamidic strip (the best thing a medicine company could ever come up with), which she absolutely loves and then suck her little boogers out with the bulb which she absolutely hates!!!

9 month and counting!!

Alexis is finally 9 months-can you imagine- three more months until she is 1 years old!!

8 MONTHS!!

The babes in now 8 months old!!!??!! I can't believe she is almost a year old...this is crazy! She is getting so big now it seems like yesterday she was just born and weighing in at 4lbs 8oz and length well lets just say she fit snug from my elbow to hand....now this cutie weighs over 16 lbs and is about 27 inches in length-shes kinda tall...Lets see what milestone has she reached-she rolls over with no problem, she uses her "pincher", loves to eat her cookies, is now eating bits and of bananas and peas not to mention her stage 2 going on stage 3 baby food, drinks juice out of a cup ( and will not let you hold it either), she is getting 4 teeth in, has her ears pierced, she loves Blue's Clues (she prefers Steve over Joe-but I don't blame her there) she walks backwards all over the house in her walker, she is now starting to walk forward, but refuses to crawl....this child will not crawl-she just doesn't want to-she really just wants to walk!!!

Congratulations to Edward for winning a real Emmy!!!! (no its not chocolate in gold wrapping-it is an actual Emmy-weighing in at about 15 lbs!!!)

The Babe is Back!!!

I know its been awhile since I posted some pics of the babe-so here ya go. She is now about 5 1/2 months and we just bought her a walker that she seems to enjoy. She is actually pretty much rolling over now she just has a hard time getting past the one arm-but she is very close-after that she will talking off crawing around the house. She grabs thing and shoves them in her mouth and she is chewing on everything. She is also eating some solid food, well baby food. Most babies love the fruits-but not my weirdo-she loves her veggies!!!

Happy 4 Months!!!

Today she finally turned 4 months. She is getting so big! I remember when she was born and weighing in at 4 1/2 pounds now her weight is right on (of course if you look closely to her arms it looks like she wears rubber bands around her wrist but hey- its cute!!)

With permission from Dr. Misch, Alexis began Applesauce today. She seemed to enjoy it, however I'm not sure if she really knew what it was-but she kept opeing her mouth for it so it must have been good!!
